Summer camp No.2
Well I went to summer camp to help out and I thought that I was only going for a day. But then my ever so loving grandparents... Well I think I'm getting ahead of myself. So I'm going to tell you what happened. My dad took me to work at Dallas Heritage Village and then I realized that I didn't pack any lunch the night before because we had run out of bread. So all I did was iron my clothes. So there I was no lunch but my dad said that I could get a sandwich at Starbuck's. Because they have sandwiches there and they're not that bad. Anyway we got there after my dad realized that we didn't get any breakfast either. My dad went into a gas station and got two beef bean burritos one for him and one for me. I wasn't picky either I was starving! My dad drops me off and then I go to the village and I ask where the camp is. They say It's by the education building so I walk and then I get there and right away and they put me to work. I asked who I would be working with and this is what they said "It's all girls" I thought I was going to die then they said they're 9-11 year olds! I couldn't believe it. Then I helped get the stuff to the schoolhouse so we could get ready. After that me and my partner got ready to welcome the kids. Serious attitudes! I couldn't believe my eyes it was so bad. Some girls were polite. Others acted like they didn't even want to be there. I was saying to myself "if you didn't want to come you could have stayed home". Anyway the camp was 5 days long and we got the attitude thing straightened out fast :) I thought I was only staying for one day. So I called my dad and asked him if he could pick me up. I had this prepared speech about how it was great and how they needed my help. So as I was dialing my phone when my phone rang I answered and my dad said that my grandfather and grandmother were going to let me spend the night at their house. And that they would take me to the rest of the camp! it was awesome I was really lucky. I had a great time. On one day my boss came and read a chapter of Little House on the Prairie. I've read one of the books so I pretty much knew what was happening . Then on another day we made pudding and we could put anything we wanted in it. Much to my disappointment though they had run out of chocolate pudding. This was the last camp for the summer but I do hope that you would consider next year to sign up for this camp (details are on the website) It was called Pages of the Past. Until the next time...

Summer camp
Dallas Heritage Village is having a summer camp. I'm going there to help. But here's the scary thing. I don't even know what age group I'm going to help in, but I hope they will be nice polite kids! I'm going there from 10:30 to 3:30. If they're little kids, I'll be fine because I get enough of a workout from my little brothers who are 4 and 2. And I can handle 5 -10. But any way just wish me luck. This is the first camp I've ever been to where I will help out.
Until the next time...
P.S. leave some comments when you come by thanks

Dallas Heritage Village
This is a really cool place I work here as a junior historian if you want to become a junior historian you have to take a brief summary about your life why you want to become a junior historian and why you like to interact with people . then all you have to do is go up there for the class (the details are on the website). But if you just want to just want to come to look at the buildings and have a picnic you can do that too here's the website so you can look at it for yourself http://dallasheritagevillage.org/
And if you just want to become a volunteer just do the brief summary and your a volunteer. Although when I asked about it they said they would like people 13 and up to become volunteers but that doesn't mean that you can't become a Junior historian. If you can please go here you won't be making a mistake. You can also become a member (details are on the website)in different levels this place is so cool trust me we also have school field trips, weddings, and birthday parties. They also have people dress up in actual time period clothing!!!!!! is that cool or what. They also have this thing called village academy the spring classes are over but they have summer ones if you choose to do these classes you better hurry because they go fast well that's all I got for now.
until the next time............
p.s. I'm the only boy in this picture!
